After 5 months of various trials on my body I lost 1 kg! It is less but I was able to find which foods help me to loose excess weight and which exercises are effective.
The initial weight was 112 before 5 months. My BMI demands a weigh of 85 kgs to be healthy. I don't to loose my weight in a quick manner. I want to loose around 1-2kgs per month. I have a time period till the end of 2008 -- 2 months from now on. Therefore I must weigh around 108 kgs by 31 dec!
One might think it is a small thing well I want to be realistic in setting my goals as I simply do want to depress myself with un-realistic goals. It is unhelathy. It is healthy to loose at a slow rate and maintain that weiht rather than loose rapidy and become more heavy and weak in no time again.
Coming to the diet -- I am a vegetarian Indian -- so my staple food is rice. Apart from rice I have all kinds of vegetables in all forms -- soups, fries, curries.... As I cannot shift the body to those non-rice diets and rice isn't that bad (unless you are on low carb) I will be sticking to my original diet. But of course with some dramatic changes in the diet to help me out lose weight without anyone reconizing I am dieting.
